About Barne Barton

The Cabin at Barn Park Nursery, Plymouth is a purpose-built setting which opened in 2014 for children aged 2-4 years. We recognise that the first years of a child's life are the most important when it comes to learning, that's why we aim to offer your child a stimulating, fun and secure environment in which to learn and grow.


There is a large play room for the children to explore different areas and activities. There is also a small 'quiet room' for group activities.


Our garden has different areas for the children to explore, including a wooden train, mud kitchen, climbing frame bridge and sand pit.


Vicki is the Manager of this setting and she will be happy to answer your questions and show you around.

Funded sessions

We offer free sessions (government funded) for eligible 2 year, 3 year and 4 year-olds. The funding is for 15 hours of childcare per week during term time. This can be stretched to 30 hours funding where eligible.

Catering to individual needs

We are a graduate-led setting with a high proportion of qualified staff. We also work alongside other agencies such as speech and language, and play therapists to support your child's needs. We are open 8:00 am - 6:00 pm for 50 weeks per year.
